QUALITY INNOVATION AWARD CEREMONY 2017 IN BILBAO
Bilbao has been chosen to host the ceremony for the Quality Innovation Award 2017, which is scheduled to take place on 8 February next year.
The event will include talks, stands exhibiting innovations introduced by the finalists, the award ceremony itself and a gala dinner that is expected to be attended by diplomatic staff from the embassies of the various countries taking part. On 7 February there will be a reception for the finalists.
The Quality Innovation Award (QIA) is a competitive contest created by Excellence Finland in 2007 to encourage the creation and development of innovations in products, processes, organisation, etc. Since then bodies charged with promoting quality, excellence and innovation in other countries have joined the organising committee, so that Finland has been joined by Estonia, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, China, Russia and Spain (which takes part through EUSKALIT and CEX). All members share the common goal of helping to increase competitiveness among the participating organisations and countries.
